Okay, maybe it was just a trim. But the little spider legs that had been hanging in her face were driving me nuts. We went to the Western Plaza barber shop to sit in the horse chair. Much to my disappointment (Madeline didn't even notice), we both sat in the chair and I wore the "magic cape". She sat still the whole time as the barber brushed her little head with a damp comb. I gave her some fruit nuggets from time to time, but mostly she was content to just watch the world go by around her. The barber even gave her a little sparkly baby barrette to wear out.
